For starters, hot dogs are known as manufactured foods which means they have high contains of saturated fats which contribute to fatty acids in the body. All you need to do is to look at the label and you will know. The grade of meat used to make hotdogs meanwhile can be quite alarming. In fact, it has been found that there are many different types of chemicals used to make this meat.

It has been found that to make hot dogs, the meat used are taken from confined animal feeding operation areas which means that the animals are reared in unhealthy and unsanitary conditions. The last thing you want in your food are pesticides and antibiotics which can be really damaging.

The more alarming issue is that some even links the making of hot dog meats using animal carcass which can be extremely dangerous when eaten. They then boil the meat, add water, grind it into a type of paste and then put in certain seasoning and preservatives and then they are made into what you see. So, the next time, you feel like having a coney dog, think again.
