As a woman, aging is part and parcel of life. While you have to come to terms with the fact that you might not be as radiant as before, you have to deal with wrinkles and lines but more distressing is when you start experiencing sagging breasts.
The good news is that you need not have to live with this so-called reality. To know how, you need to understand some facts as well.
Breastfeeding – Contrary to popular beliefs, breastfeeding does not cause sagging. It was found in a recent study that breastfeeding is not a risk factor to sagging in any way.
Bras – Wearing a bra all the does not necessarily mean that your breasts will not sag. So, if you are wearing it to bed, it is time to stop.
Size – It is not a common fact that small breasts do not sag. It does not matter whether you have large or small breasts, it is the ratio of breast tissue to fat that causes the sagging.
Exercise – Exercising your breast will not keep them from sagging. Your breasts do not have muscles, so any form of exercise will not prevent this natural occurrence.
So, what can you do?
Exercise the chest – Make no mistake about it, you should exercise your chest muscles which will enhance its firmness like push-ups and lifting weights. Take note that you are not exercising the breasts but the areas surrounding them which can help in maintaining better posture and shape of your breasts.
Posture – Maintain good posture at all times. Stop hunching if you are prone to such habits because you are succumbing your breasts to gravity. If you tend to hunch, then this is one habit that needs to be corrected immediately.
Special Clothing – Use special support bras which are designed to maintain your breasts from sagging. When exercising, use sports bras that keep your breasts at a certain spot from excessive movements and bouncing.
Massage – Use olive oil to massage your breasts about 3 times weekly. Olive oil is extremely beneficial for the skin where it helps to repair cells and improves elasticity.
