- Apple cider vinegar

Lemon, undeniable one of the most beneficial food around is used here to collaborate with honey to flush out the virus in your body as they both have anti-viral components.
The apple cider vinegar meanwhile is used as it is known to cure sore throat and relieve the congestion in your throat and the garlic has all ingredients of a superfood.
The recipe here is as follow:
- 10 to 11 cloves of garlic which are lightly mashed
- A quarter cup of apple cider vinegar
- 1 lemon
- 4 to 5 tablespoons of honey depending on how sweet you want the taste to be.
First, simmer the garlic with water for about 8 to 10 minutes then strain the water out. Stir the garlic water with the apple cider vinegar and when it is well-balanced, proceed to the next step.
Squeeze out the lemon juice and mix it together with the honey you have prepared and mix them all together. If you want a sweeter taste, add more honey. Do not overdo the honey part though.
After that, put the mixture into a water bottle which can be kept in the fridge.
Drink 2 to 3 times a day. Within a week or less, you will notice considerable difference in your breathing system. You should breathe better and less prone to catching the flu as you would always do.
Tips to storing superfoods garlic and onions longer
The wonders and benefits of garlic and onions are unprecedented. Both of them are known as superfoods and are ranked among the top healthiest foods in the world. When you buy onions and garlic, you tend to use very low amount of them and as such, garlic sprouts will start growing if you do not use them soon enough while onions tend to get mouldy after a while.
So, how can you keep your onions and garlic so that they last longer and still maintain the healthy elements?
What do you need?
Prepare the following:
- A hole puncher
- Paper clips
- Paper bags (brown lunch ones if possible)
In terms of the garlic and onions, look for firm and blemish-free ones.
First, make holes on the paper bags. Use the puncher to make holes wherever you like. The best way to do this is to fold the bag a few times and then punch horizontal holes. That will give you an evenly spread rows of holes. It does not have to look pretty as you want to allow ventilation for the contents in the bag.
After that, fill up the bag to half full and then fold the top over. Use a marker to label what is inside and then you are DONE! Store them in a drawer or the kitchen cabinet and then you will notice that the onions and garlic actually remain fresh for a longer time.
Note: Do not use plastic bags as they do not allow good air circulation while store the onions and garlic away from potatoes and not in the fridge too.
