How to make your own Homemade Bleach minus the Death Risks!

Getting rid of the stubborn dirt can sometimes be a drag. There are several choices at hand. You can either scrub the stains off until your hands hurt or you can opt for the easy way out by using bleach.

But you know for a fact that regular bleach is one of the most toxic chemicals that can be deadly. Fumes from this chemical-based cleaner can cause fatal health conditions like cancer while you could get certain allergies, asthma and problems with your respiratory system.

And to think that you only wanted to clean the stains for a hygienic home, this move can be very counterproductive. Besides that, chlorine bleach can be very corrosive while it irritates the eyes and very damaging for the skin. So, the most logical thing to do is to avoid using bleach altogether. The problem is, how can you clean the stubborn stains? Try the following recipe:

What you need?
About a quarter to half a cup of lemon juice – This is because lemon juice has citric acid which is a wonderful natural bleach and stain remover.

  • 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide – You can buy this chemical from the pharmacy where it can be an amazing disinfectant.
  • 10 to 12 cups of water.

All you need to do is to mix all the liquid together and use it immediately. Store in a bottle and label it correctly and keep out of reach of children. Add one or two cups in your wash and your home will have that lemony scent.
