An ENT specialist is a doctor who specializes in the treating of ear, nose and throat. This is referred to as Otolaryngology in the medicine field. ENT specialists are typically professionals who are sometimes called otolaryngologist where they can treat patients with these problems while some are able to carry out certain surgery procedures as well.

As such, a person with any symptoms of hearing loss, sinus infections and even cancers around these body parts will seek treatment from ENT specialists while children with such conditions would require long term medication and treatment.
