Black spots on the skin can be very depressing especially when they appear at obvious places. Black spots are caused by several factors including exposure to sun, deficiency in certain minerals, pregnancy or hormonal imbalance, among others. If you have this problem, try the following home remedies and see the black spots clearing.
Lemon Juice – Squeeze one lemon for its juice and then use cotton balls to apply to the black spots, leaving it there to ‘marinate’. Then use water to rinse it and continue this for 2 full weeks. The whitening properties will take effect then.
Potatoes – Rich with antioxidant, use potato slices and rub them against the area effected. Otherwise grate the potato with hone and apply them 2 times every week.
Oats – Use oatmeal powder by adding with 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and then making a paste-like mixture. After that, use it on the black spots for 2 times weekly.
Buttermilk – Take 4 teaspoons of buttermilk and mix it with 2 teaspoons of fresh tomato juice and then let it simmer on the black spots for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with water. Buttermilk has lactic acid that helps to reduce pigmentation on the skin. Do this for about 5 days, 10 minutes each time.
Almonds– Use almond nuts and make milk Make an almond milk by first soaking them with water for a night. Then peel the almonds and blend with water before adding some honey and sandalwood powder to be applied on the face. After that, leave it there for half an hour and do this for about 2 weeks.
