Make your own healthiest bread in the world


Bread is among the most popular foods we can eat each day. It can be taken with a variety of dishes and is one of the most consumed foods for breakfast. But with that in mind, it is often said that too much bread (non-wholemeal ones) might not be as healthy as it seems.

Hence, we are sharing with you a home-made recipe where you can make your own bread. And it is the healthiest you can find in the world too. This is because the recipe is designed to promote better stimulation of your red blood cells, improve and regulate your cholesterol levels helps to prevent diabetes and other diseases too.

To make this bread, you will not need flour but sprouted wheat grains. There are no added additives or preservatives which can be harmful. Once you have taken this, your body will get a lot of nutrients like fats, minerals, amino acids, enyzmes and vitamins, among others which means it is more than 20 times better than the conventional bread you buy from the shops.

What do you need?

The ingredients that you need are as follow:

  1. 2 tablespoons each of flaxseed, sesame and sunflower core
  2. 1 tablespoon each of salt and sugar
  3. Half fresh yeast
  4. About 50 to 60ml of water
  5. 300gms of wheat
  6. 100gms of barley flakes.

First, you will need to cover the wheat with water and then leave it alone for 3 days. You will notice that the wheat will start to sprout. Throughout the 3 days, you might have to change the water. Then, you need to drain the water and then let the mixture ‘bleed’. Add some barley and the seeds to give it the flavour you like.

After that, you can add the water and sugar into the mixture and blend well. The yeast will start to swell and then you can add the mixture in. Using your hands, start kneading and then add the salt in and continue the process until you notice that it is thorough and evenly distributed.

Leave it to simmer for about half an hour on the tray and you can bake it at 220 degrees Celsius and bake for about 1 hour. Check occasionally if it is cooked by using a stick (chopstick will do) and when it is fully baked, your bread is ready to eat.
