For anyone who is aware of what nutrients and minerals can do, any form of deficiency will be harmful. Among minerals like calcium, potassium and such, magnesium has often been regarded as the most important that your body needs especially to reduce your risk of diabetes type-2.
One of the main reasons for this is because most people are not aware that they have magnesium deficiency. When you feel thirsty all the time and fatigue, chances are your body is lacking in this mineral. Besides that, magnesium helps to balance your hormones while regulating your mood. However, not all magnesium can be consumed while you can make your own ‘magnesium oil’ which can be applied to your skin which will then reduce your risk of cramps, sports injuries and even improve your sleep quality.
What you need?
- 1 spray bottle
- Half a cup of water (filtered if possible)
- Half a cup of magnesium chloride flakes.
Once you have prepared the ingredients above, you will need to first boil the water on a saucepan which is non-aluminium. Then, turn off the fire. Put the flakes in and stir until they become liquid. After that, cool down the mixture and put them into the spray bottle you have prepared. You can spray this on your skin throughout the day. The good thing here is that it does not leave any residue although it is a type of ‘oil’. However, be aware that it might create a ‘tingly’ sensation in sensitive areas. This is most evident at places that were recently exfoliated while you should spray after taking your bath.
